One study on muira puama assessed the efficacy of a commercially available supplement containing muira puama and gingko in improving libido and anorgasmia in 202 postmenopausal women. Furthermore, no studies have been conducted on the adverse effects of maca and its side effect profile remains unknown; as such further research is required to determine its role in the management of ED.
